We're trying something different this month, because I'm tired of marketingspeak, and you probably are too.😂 So, less formally:

New Book!

My newest novel, Live, Love, Level, is now available from me direct! If you prefer to wait for a retail copy, it'll be out next month. But why wait? It's a fun story with a happy ending about gamers and families who love with and live with them. Not my usual, but a lot more relevant than my typical, and it's still got all my hallmarks. Plus it's safe for your teens to read. If you want something more personal in scope, go check it out. Or preorder it. Your choice!

I've been serializing Live, Love, Level on my patreon/locals platforms, and when I run out of material next month (coinciding with the retail launch), I'll be looking for something else to schedule. What do you want to see? Take the poll to let me know!

What Am I Working On?

Amazingly, since we spoke last, I got hijacked by Kherishdar and am now nearly done with a third volume in the Conversations series and halfway done with Kherishdar 5. I'm planning to launch both those together in Q3 of 2025, possibly with a Kickstarter because several of you seem to want one. More on that as I get closer to done!

Since I want to let that book sit for a while before editing it, I'm going to run the Kickstarter for the second Jokka collection before I release Kherishdar. Probably in the next 3 months or so! Go here to be notified of that launch.

Fun Side Project

I'm playing with python and have made a little web interface into my Ai-Naidari vocabulary spreadsheet. While it's not ready for prime-time yet, I'm learning a lot, and hope to make this available to subscribers soon!

• I learned this week that I'm listed in a research paper about serial crowdfunding, in a table devoted to people who haven't had a failed project yet. This is my flex, because I have the most awesome fanbase: 💪
• I have an instagram! I... rarely do anything with it other than post food, cat, and book pictures. If that's your jam, have a look.
• I have a cat. Evidence below. Yes, he's sleeping on the socks I just took off. I think that means he likes me? You never know with cats.
