Kitty Kimono and Other Goodies

I'm involved in two Kickstarters this month! The first is Kitty Kimono's Quest for Love, which is unlocking stickers and magnets about Kitty Kimono, Hakama Heartthrob, and their adorable kittens. You can check that out here:

Beta Players Needed for RPG!

I need some pioneers willing to help me test a collaborative storytelling game on a small scale before I launch for a larger audience! You don't need prior gaming experience (and in fact, I'd like some non-gamers), but you will need to join the Discord. The theme is "Jokka caravan trading across Ke Bakil" and it should take about 3 weeks, during which volunteers will vote on three key decisions and discuss the results on the Discord.

This Month's Art

...is also of the Jokka, in keeping with the call for playtesters. I'm pretty sure these are the characters from "Unspeakable," Ekkuli and Tañel, but this piece is from 22 years ago so I'm honestly guessing at this point. It's wholly executed in color pencil... yes, even that mad gradient there. I still like how Tañel's dark skin came out, and the rocks and stones behind them are pretty convincing!

If you haven't read the story, you'll find it in the Clays Beneath the Skies collection. "Unspeakable" won a Reader's Choice award from Strange Horizons and I think it was a finalist for something else I don't remember. It was a long time ago.😅

We are 20 chapters into the gamelit novel over on Patreon/Locals! This story will be available later at retail for those who aren't into serials.
